简介

Eadweard Muybridge最初是一位风景和建筑摄影师，后来以其对运动中的动物和人的开创性图像而闻名。1872年，一位赛马主人聘请Muybridge来证明飞奔的马蹄从未同时完全离开地面，而Muybridge的图像却反证了这一说法。他的主要工作方法之一是将一系列大型摄像机排成一排，在拍摄对象经过时自动拍摄图像。在Zoopraxiscope机器中观看，他的图像为动画和当代电影摄影奠定了基础。
