Angela Grossmann
Eadweard Muybridge
April 16, 2026 - May 16, 2026
For Capture’s 2026 season, Equinox Gallery presents an exhibition of photo-based work by Vancouver-based artist Angela Grossmann, shown in conversation with photogravures by Eadweard Muybridge from his 1887 series Human and Animal Locomotion. Created more than a century apart, the works in this exhibition employ photography in experimental ways to examine the figure, movement and human gesture, positioning the body as both subject and medium.
Opening reception: Thursday, April 16th, 6 - 8pm
